Who We Are
Curtain Care Ireland is a specialist in in-situ curtain cleaning, serving nursing homes, care facilities, and hotels across all 26 counties. We are the trusted partner for facility managers and directors of care who need curtain cleaning done right — professionally, compliantly, and with minimal disruption to residents and guests.
Curtain Care Ireland was born out of Cleaning Angel, a dry cleaning and laundry business founded in 1974. Responding to demand, using its knowledge of chemicals and long history of cleaning curtains in specialist settings, Curtain Care Ireland was established as a separate business in 2025.
Our Approach: Deep Heat Cleaning
Unlike standard laundry services or competitors using low-moisture or dry-cleaning methods, we use our own ‘Deep Heat‘ cleaning process. This process is much more effective at removing all types of soilage and contamination than standard methods. We clean curtains in place — without removing them from their tracks. Our in-situ process uses hospital-grade, biodegradable cleaning agents and our specialist Deep Heat equipment to deep-clean each curtain to fabric-care standards. Curtains are typically dry and ready for use within 20 minutes of treatment.
This approach eliminates:
- Curtain damage from repeated removal and reinstallation
- Security gaps from uncovered windows during off-site collection periods
- Disruption to residents, patients, or guests
- Loss of fire-retardant properties through inappropriate laundering
Compliance Is Our Core Business
For nursing homes and care facilities, regulatory compliance is not optional. Curtain Care Ireland’s services are fully aligned with HSE (Health Service Executive) infection control guidelines, HPSC (Health Protection Surveillance Centre) soft furnishing hygiene standards, and HIQA (Health Information and Quality Authority) inspection requirements.
After every service, we provide a detailed compliance certificate with service date, cleaning method and technician names — ready for your HIQA inspection file. Before/after photographs are available on request.
Our Team
Every Curtain Care Ireland technician completes in-house training on our method, equipment and cleaning agents, and is briefed on working safely around residents and clinical areas. They are uniformed and ID-badged. Garda vetting is in progress for all technicians, with status confirmed in writing before any visit to a care setting. We maintain public liability and products liability insurance, and our team follows strict sign-in and health and safety protocols at every site visit.

Our mobile teams operate from our Dublin base and service all 26 counties. We offer flexible scheduling including early morning appointments where required. We work weekdays only.
